poster for Anna Karenina, directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley.
OMFG!
I’m trying hard not to judge…
but I am seriously side-eying this movie.
I call shenanigans on the potential ambiguity of the tagline
You can’t ask why about love
You can’t; ask why about love
You can’t ask, why about love?
You can’t ask why about, love?
Those make as much sense as what it’s supposed to say. Also “from the director of Pride and Prejudice and Atonement”? Methinks this director has a hard-on for Keira Knightley.
I might not be able to ask why about love, but I can definitely ask why this movie was ever made.
Can’t we just have the costumes and scenery and not have anything else?
